Morganti Ju-Jitsu

Morganti Ju-jitsu is a style of martial art created in Brazil which incorporates ground fighting, throwing techniques and stand up fighting. We are the only and official training center of this Art in North America.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai, also known as ‘Thai boxing’, is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs” as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.”


Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking and punching. Expect a full body workout that engages every muscle group in your body, with a strong focus on your core

Can I take martial arts classes if I'm not in great shape or have little to no experience?

Absolutely! Ju-Jitsu, Muay Thai & Kickboxing are great ways to improve your health and overall physical fitness, no matter what your starting point is. Our personalized curriculum are taught in such a way that each person can begin training at their own pace. 

Everyone starts from somewhere and it’s a different place for all of us.  What’s important is that you start a program and work slowly towards your own personal goals. 

is martial arts training safe?

Yes, safety is always our highest priority.  Martial arts classes are taught by professional instructors with many years of experience teaching. Our facilities have been designed to ensure the safety of each student and include high quality mma mats.

Regular sanitization with an electrostatic fogger with hospital/transit grade disinfectant are performed after every session. There is a maximum of 10 students per class and movable vinyl dividers placed between each student. There is also fresh air ventilation and our instructors wear masks during classes. Temperatures are checked upon entering and everyone is required to sanitize their hands. 

will i be able to train if i have past injuries?

Many of our students have experienced past injuries before starting with Power3 Academy. Most injuries do not prohibit training Ju Jitsu, Kickboxing or Muay Thai. Our instructors will modify instruction to avoid strain on the injured area. 

Can my child get hurt during training?

Children have a much greater chance of getting hurt playing football than martial arts. Some children have trained for years without an injury.  Injuries however can and do occur on rare occasions, but your child’s safety is always our #1 concern. We use thick padded floor matting, safety gear and follow a strict set of rule and regulations for students as well as instructors.

Will martial arts training make my child aggressive?

No way! From day one, we teach our students to use common sense and how to avoid conflict with peaceful, non-aggressive solutions. However, should your child ever be confronted with an aggressive situation that can’t be resolved peacefully, he or she will at least have the basic martial arts skills to defend themselves.

How do the belt tests work and are there fees?

Each student advances at their own pace; attendance and effort are the key to regular advancement. Students will progress through a series of belt (and stripes for kids)  promotions.

Belt tests are offered 4 times a year – only students that have completed the requirements from the booklet according to the International Morganti Ju-Jitsu standards are eligible to take the tests. 

During the test students must show proficiency in each curriculum area  in order to earn their next belt or stripe rank. 

The belt test is $75 for the adults. For kids it is $25 for the stripe tests and $35 for the belt test. 

are there any hidden fees?

There are zero hidden fees at Power3 Academy. We do not charge for initiation/ joining fee nor do we charge for cancellations.

Memberships are on a month to month or yearly basis and we kindly ask that members give us a 2 week notice before cancelling. 

Please note that during closure due to the pandemic, we immediately paused the memberships. 



Having a little time to spare I could work on exercise to get back to my fitness level. Working six times a week I dropped 50lbs in five months so I would say the training at the gym is highly effective. The Ju-jitsu instruction is excellent the coach knows what he is doing. As an alternative is the Muay Thai. The morning session and saturday is much more intensive, the instructor is knowledgable and encourages you to go further you will push your phyiscal limits. In the evening the kickboxing attracts more people in a well developed training session the session is popular especially so with ladies and takes pride in ensuring that the clients enjoy the experience… I have not encountered any attitude at the gym and the workouts are conducted in a safe environment.

Training here for a year now has been one of the most empowering things I have done for myself. I’m continuously learning invaluable new skills, developing my ju jitsu and getting an insane workout. I feel way more confident and it has actually helped me in real life situations. I’m now a firm believer that EVERYONE should take it upon themselves to learn some form of self defense.
